Born in Colorado, R.
W.
Moyer accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at the age
of eight. His life has included traveling the rodeo circuit as both Cowboy
Chaplain and Rodeo clown. R. W. has instructed numerous rodeo events at Rodeo Bible Camps,
rodeo schools and
clinics across the country as well as riding as a Pick-Up Man. R. W. has
also been starting colts
for over 30 years and has taught principles of Horsemanship to both youth and
adults.
R. W. attended the College of Sequoias, in California and graduated with degrees in recreation, and farrier science. He attended the Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs, CO. and then Christ Unlimited Bible Institute in Kansas City, KS. R. W. graduated from Calvary Bible College And Seminary in Kansas City, KS. with degrees in Bible and Youth/Camping Ministry. He is also a member of the Evangelical Teachers Association.
R. W. was involved in the organization and operations of the first Fellowship of Christian Cowboys Rodeo Bible Camps. He has also been involved with many organizations including Youth for Christ, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Teens For Christ, Youth Challenge and others. R. W. has also taught courses in Christian Camping, Recreational Leadership, and Philosophy of Youth Ministry at Calvary Bible College in Kansas City, KS.
The
Moyer family has a heart for rural America, young people and families. R.
W.
and his wife Becky both share a common background of music, ranching and rodeo.
R. W. and his wife Becky have been full time
missionaries to America since 1989. They have also recorded three albums in Nashville
Tennessee.
Moyer Ministries, Inc is a non-denominational, non-profit ministry, funded through honorariums, love offerings and by individuals and churches who believe in the need for home missions.
